Their Story

Oh! The pizza! What a wonderful twist of fate! The pizza, as we know it today started out as an unappealing flat bread (it first appeared in the 10th century in southern Italy)—a dish for the poor, who used to garnish it with everything they could find!  Moreover it is very likely that the word pizza derives from the Turkish word pita, which means bread. The pizza earned its reputation in Naples in the 16th century, more specifically with the introduction of tomatoes in Europe, which brought colour to the black and white plain flatbread. Since then, it has conquered the world to the point of reaching the status of cult across the globe, where it is nowadays developed in a countless variety of recipes which are adapted to local cultures.  One can even say that it is one of the symbols of bringing the people together. Yet, one must admit that there are many disappointing ones, or in fact very disappointing ones!

How are they made

The Fadi Prestige Pizzas are made in Italy… their homeland! But that’s just a start; our organic pizzas are handmade and prepared with spring water that flows down from the Sibillini mountains in the Marches province! Crafting starts with carefully selected organic wheat flour, then the dough undergoes fermentation for 24 hours before it is divided and rolled into small pieces. It is then left to rest for another hour, just like a true pizza chef would do in the old days. Isn’t it amazing?

The final touch

But it’s not just the «crust» which is fantastic, so are the toppings: equally prepared with organic ingredients. The tomato sauce has a delicate and slightly sweet taste, free from any acidity.  Discover our Margherita garnished with organic cherry tomatoes, our 4 cheese pizza with a sublime creamy gorgonzola, and a variety of delightfully fancy pizzas topped with truffles! But that’s not all! There’s still the cooking step that brings our pizzas to the next level.  Our pizzas are cooked in wood fired stone ovens, which give them a balanced colour, specific aroma and an extraordinary lightness: the crust is thin, crispy, and has a really unique taste!

Let’s run through the whole process once again: the secret of our great pizzas rests in selecting the highest quality ingredients, a traditional know-how (everything is handmade to ensure a superior quality) and using a fast freezing process to preserve the colour, texture, and taste!  Not to mention the passion we put in our food. It’s probably the main ingredient, the one that brings a little extra something! Organic Margherita Pizza

Organic Margherita Pizza:  it is the most Neapolitan pizza. The original pizza which features the 3 colors of the Italian flag: the red of the tomato, the white of the mozzarella and the green of the basil. The spring water based crust truly enhances the taste. It's a true Neapolitan pizza (based on the international standards in effect since 1984) — that is to say, the crust must be 1- 2 cm thick which will make it much crispier. Our Margherita pizza is topped with organic cherry tomatoes, which give out a smooth and sweet flavor. It's like a real sunray in the mouth. It weighs 535 g.

Organic 4 Cheeses Pizza

Organic 4 Cheeses Pizza: If you have never tasted a pizza prepared with spring water, then you've never eaten a good pizza! Our 4 cheese pizza is a real Neapolitan pizza (based on the international standards of the True Neapolitan Pizza Association, in force since 1984) — its raised crust of 1-2 cm will make it crispier.  This pizza is topped with an exquisite layer tomato sauce, smothered in a soft cheese blend (13% gorgonzola, 9% mozzarella, 4% emmental and 3% fontal). The pizza weighs 520 g and you will enjoy the contrast between the crispiness of the dough and the softness of the toppings, as well as a true and powerful taste. It’s the ultimate treat for cheese lovers!
